God Bless Hillsong Church!!

I probably speak for thousands when I say, “God bless Hillsong Church!” (Whose original body is located in Sidney, Australia).  I grew up on Hillsong, right back from “Shout to the Lord” days and “Potter’s Hand”, branching into pretty much every Hillsong United CD that has been released since the yellow album, of which I cannot remember the title right now =).  Hillsong has always seemed to produce something that ministers to me in the season of life I am experiencing at a given time.  When I was battling depression and other mental torments during my mid-teens to early twenties, there was a song that Holy Spirit used to encourage and empower me (My Heart Will Trust) among many others. In the good and the bad, like faithful friend, Hillsong music has been there to help me in the battle.  I remember, even during high school, I used to make Hillsong mix-tapes for my walk to school and through the halls at lunch =). 

If we’re talking about “the weapons of our warfare” that God has given us to fight with, praise and worship has definitely been my weapon of choice!  And Hillsong music has been my main supply of ammunition for that weapon!

They have also been a huge inspiration to us in regards to where we as a church want to go with multi-media, the arts, and social justice!  Things that have been our heart, they trail-blazing and showing that with God, all things are possible.

They have a new cd being released in Canada on Tuesday, July 29th, called “This is our God”.  There is a testimony behind one of the songs, that I have posted and I encourage you to watch.  POWERFUL!!! If you are from Hillsong Church, know that you have been a tremendous blessing to Church Without Limits from our inception until now!  WE LOVE YOU!
